Real Life Simpsons Opening
Youtube.com has a version of the opening of The Simpsons featuring live actors. Bart writing on the chalkboard, homer in the nuclear plant, Lisa & the sax, Maggie being scanned at the grocery store and honking her horn, Bart skateboarding off the top of the car, it's all there. Interestingly, when Marge drives the car, the steering wheel is on the right, so this was probably done in England. Overall, it is very well done.
Over just the past few months, Youtube.com has become an example of what user-submitted video can be. Contrast this to Al Gore's Current.tv, which came into being with much fanfare, even more venture capital, and much less interesting content.
