GM Sells Majority of GMAC in $14 Billion Deal
A group of investors led by Cerebus Capital purchased a majority interest in GMAC for $14 billion. I reported last week that such a deal was likely. Will the deal help General Motors? According to the New York Times article linked below, a Standard & Poor's analyst said the GMAC would have a "neutral" impact on GM.
