Court issues warrant for arrest of Hyundai Motor chief - 04/28/06 - The Detroit News

Warrant issued for Arrest of Hyundai Chief
Bribery, Corruption, Etc.

I haven't written in this blog about the ongoing investigations and accusations of Hyundai Motor Co. Chairman Chung Mong-koo. I also skipped allegations against Volkswagen officials. The Volkswagen charges were even more juicy, they involved allegations that Volkswagen officers hired prostitutes for union officials.

Anyway, now a warrant is out for the arrest of Chung Mong-koo. There are allegations against his son, the Chairman of Kia Motors, Eui-Son. (I always said that Nepotism Industries is the world's largest employer.) I skipped these stories because I don't have the time to keep up with them. Somehow, I have a hunch that Chairman Chung has enough clout to get out of them in the long run; and if I'm wrong, I'll get over it.
