What's in your Fico Credit Score
From the www.myfico.com website, here's a pie chart that gives general information on how different credit information is weighed in your credit score. Note that "new credit" as a group is only rated 10%. While this includes a weighting for the number of new credit inquiries, that's only one item. It generally confirms my impression that the number of credit inquiries only counts for 1-2% of your credit score, therefore if you have an FCRA case wher improper inquiries are part of the actual damages, don't expect to break the bank on damages. You might even have a causation problem.
