National Rube Goldberg Machine Competition
Looking for a place to go on April Fool's Day? The finals for the Rube Goldberg Machine Contest will be held at the Armory at Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana the morning of April 1, 2006. The link to the official website is below.
I've taken my two elementary-school aged kids to the competition twice now, and it's a good time. I think it's important show students some appreciation for mental accomplishments and not just sporting accomplishments. Purdue is an easy day drive for most 3357 members in Ohio Illinois and Indiana.
