Another Sob Story: Swedish Saab production may be near an end.

Last year, General Motors conducted a competition between a German Opel plant and the Saab plant in Trollhaettan Sweden. Today GM Announced that the German plant won, and in the long-term, midsized car production for Europe will be based in Germany. Unless a replacement line for Trollhaettan is found, this could be the beginning of the end for Swedish Saabs.

Midsize car work goes to Opel plant - 03/04/05
