A mole deep inside Ford management leaked key provisions of the turnaround plan known as "The Way Forward". As it turns out, the plan went through several variations to reach the level of perfection shown by the final version. Even the title changed from "Let's get out of here while we still can" to "Alms for an ex-leper" to "The Way Sideways" to the final version.
