Holy racing El Caminos Batman!
The Australian V8 Ute Series

The El Camino never died, it just moved to Australia and became the Holden Commodore Ute. Similarly, the Ford Ranchero still lives as the Ford Falcon Ute. These rivals slug it out in the V8 Ute racing series. I'm not much into stock car racing, but based on the streaming video on the website, these drivers really know how to swap paint.
