Sirius vs. XM Radio - A good comparison
Consumerguide.com has published an excellent concise comparision between the offerings of Sirius and XM satelite radio networks. Based on the info below, it looks like XM has the most channels, but Sirius has the most commercial channels. If you get a built-in system, your choice will largely be based upon who makes your car. Each of the manufacturers have taken sides. As far as I can tell, only Nissan offers both.
If I drove a lot, I would seriously consider paying the money for either service. On a recent rip to Florida, unless I wanted to listen to an evangelist, there was nothing to play on the radio for a good portion of the trip.

Rinspeed Splash - another amphibious car
Boy the amphibious cars are really springing from the swamps this year. Here comes the Rinspeed Splash. This one has almost no visible means of support when it's up on its hydrofoils.

Sort out the Candidates with Presidentmatch.com
When I tried it, I tested 100% match with Dennis Kucinich. Only 5% match with George Bush. Frankly, I'm surprised there was even the 5%.

She Bangs - William Hung - The real American Idol
It took awhile, but salutes to William Hung are pouring onto the net. Mr. Hung mesmerized the audience with an original rendition of Ricky Martin's "She Bang". Amazingly, he didn't make it past the original audition, but as he pointed out, "I have no professional training."

Making Fire Without Matches
I watched the first episode of "Survivor Allstars" after the Superbowl. That episode covers the first three days where all of the "Allstars" in three groups can't make fire. Actually, Richard Hatch (the winner of season 1, you know, the smart fat gay guy who likes to get naked) implied that he can make fire whenever he wants to. He just chooses not to. The host, Jeff Probst acts incredulous when he finds out that not even Richard's group has fire.
Anyway, that got me thinking - if you know you're going to be on survivor, and you know that every season fire is a big problem, wouldn't you learn how to make fire?
It's not easy. The link below is the story of one man's adventure in trying to learn to make fire.
